The room itself was nice and clean, but there were no towels or hangers, even though it has a wardrobe with a hanging rail. I also found the check-in arrangements unfair: check-in is after 12, but some guests were allowed in at 11 while I waited for the stated time. I'd confirmed an extension in advance and paid the full room charge, yet staff kept bothering me during the day to ask if I wanted to extend and to request the tax fee, which could have been paid at checkout. The standard price also has an extra 10% charge, even though the app had already charged tax.

App bookings come with a 10% tax, payable in cash when you collect the key. The room was reasonably clean, though there were cobwebs on the skylight. The bathroom had a slight garlic smell, so maybe some bathroom freshener would help.

The rooms are clean and well kept, and the bathrooms are clean too. What’s missing is somewhere to hang clothes and towels, especially in the twin-bed rooms, plus a spot to dry wet laundry or towels.

Watch out for scammers. I booked through an app, but at check-in they turned me away, saying they no longer worked with Oyo because Oyo hadn't paid them. They wouldn't even look at the booking confirmation email. Instead, they showed me a contract termination letter they'd prepared without Oyo's approval, and didn't want to hear what had happened to the money I'd paid. The innkeeper and his curly-haired male employee even looked down on how much the customer had paid. If they want big money, they should build a star-rated hotel instead of a homestay. The amount wasn't much, but customers have a right to the money they've paid. And strangely, they still sell rooms through an app they claim not to recognize. If just 10 people a day book, imagine them making millions without doing any work. Incredible.
