A second-floor room with a terrace facing the ocean is a good choice. The air conditioning is cool, and the bed is soft and roomy. I’d only add an extra king-size bed. It’s a clean, comfortable hotel near the beach, and the price is reasonable.

The beach is only about 50 meters away, and there’s a prayer room behind the hotel. We stayed here for the second time. It used to be Hotel Widodo 2, and it’s now under new owners as Hotel Trias. It could work well for a family break in 2024. In the morning, you can walk along Parangtritis Beach, the Santuy Zone, and Parang Kusuma, get a young coconut from a beach seller, or let the kids swim in the freshwater pool on the beach. For some reason, Parangtritis stays a favorite with travelers. Our room was spacious, with a TV, tables and chairs, and a thin blanket that felt a bit more romantic. The bathroom was good and the tap water ran smoothly, but the shower didn’t work. There was no hot water, though the cold water was plentiful and refreshing. We got two small bottles of Cleo drinking water, a bar of soap, a towel, and two shampoo sachets. The door was sturdy, though there was a long gap where someone could peek in from outside. The guard can see that area and would surely reprimand anyone trying to look, so turning off the lights felt safe. It also seemed safe for kids who like to move around.

For 150,000 Rupiah, it was okay since I got in late, around 10 p.m., and just needed somewhere to lie down. The place is open 24 hours and very close to the beach. My room had a TV and fan because AC was out of stock when I booked, plus two tables and chairs, an ashtray, four little Cleo bags, and a bar of soap. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet was hard to flush, there was no hot water, and the mattress was Jeglong.

The owner is kind, and the place feels safe and clean, with secure parking. It’s a good option for a family vacation, and the beach is close enough to walk to at night. The air-conditioned rooms cost 250/night, with clean bathrooms and water that runs smoothly.
