There were ants in the room, and some basic things were missing, including a hairdryer, pool towels, cups for toothbrushes and a shower cap. The toilet seat was broken, and cleanliness overall was questionable. At least the garden and pool area were lovely, and the bed was comfortable.

If you're on a budget, this place is decent. The location is fantastic, close to the beach and next door to The Cashew Tree, which I thought was the best restaurant in town. Having a grocery store next door with very cheap everyday goods was really helpful. The toilets were the best in Bali for us, with a strong flush, so we didn't need a bum gun. The downsides: roosters nearby start calling around 5 am and keep going for hours, every day, so bring earplugs. The bed was harder than a stone pallet, though to be fair, every hotel bed in Bali seemed like that. We stayed three days and never got hot water.

We loved having our own private pool in the villa, and the kids were all over it. The rooms were spacious, tidy and clean, with good air conditioning. The villas are right next to The Cashew Tree, making it an easy stumble home after a big night out. Awesome place.

The pools were both clean and a good size. The grounds were okay but needed maintenance, and the hotel is within walking distance of the beach and some great cafes and restaurants. The rooms were spacious, but there was no fridge, drinking water or TV. We had to ask for coat hangers. The drinking fountain was empty, and when I asked a staff member to replace the bottle, they just shrugged and left it empty for four days, still empty when I checked out. Asking for drinking water got us nowhere, and instead they directed us to their nearby minimart. The bathrooms were a good size but very tired, with grime, stains and water marks that needed a serious scrub.
