It's cheap, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have stayed here. The room has a sliding door rather than a proper door, and mosquitoes got in through the gaps at night. I've got loads of bites and don't feel good about it because I'm worried about malaria. The toilet doesn't work and smells bad. When I arrived, several people acted confused about my booking and said I hadn't paid. I showed the woman proof that I had paid, and she accepted it. I can't tell if they were trying to scam me, but it crossed my mind.

The family is very nice, and staying here felt quite authentic. The rooms are very basic, so don't expect much. It's out in the forest and a bit far away, which makes it super quiet. Having a motorbike is better.

There isn't a pool or air conditioning, just a fan to help with the heat. It's budget priced rather than a hotel, but I found it delightful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and the family are lovely and friendly. Beautiful spot out in the forest.

I could use the kitchen, and the location worked perfectly for me, close to everything but away from the crazy traffic. The homestay feels cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with a clean, well-kept room and nice little details. Most of all, Madi made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. His welcome was warm, and he genuinely cared about making my stay comfortable. For comfort and real local hospitality, I can't recommend this place enough.

The property is spacious, and the people here are awesome. I really like this part of southern Bali, and this place is calm despite being away from the busy streets. I'd happily stay again next time I'm in Bali. It's a good budget option if you're fine without luxuries like AC or warm showers. The room and bed were big, there's a fan for hot weather, and the internet was fast.
