The bungalow's air conditioner barely worked, and the curtain wouldn't stay against the wall. The pool was too shallow for adults, and although I wanted to go diving, nobody even offered it. I also had to ask for breakfast, and what we got didn't live up to the attractive ad photos. The staff seemed uninterested, and the glass office was shut. The pictures look good, but the actual place was very different. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed one night during our motorcycle trip around Bali. It was quiet, away from the noisy highway, with just tokek calls and chickens for company. A simple homestay with genuinely kind, helpful owners. Great if you enjoy looking at the night sky.

The rooms are close together, which made this a convenient place to stay with friends and family, while each one is set apart enough to give you some privacy. Mine was really comfortable. Kadek and his family were so welcoming and helpful, and shared plenty of useful advice for exploring Bali. The property is lovely and easy to reach near the main road, with shops and good restaurants nearby. It's also close to the beach and activities like diving, snorkeling, bird watching, and sunset watching. I spent four months at Menjangan View Homestay and will absolutely come back on my next Bali trip. I had the best experience there!

The village setting was peaceful and gave me a chance to experience everyday Bali, but beaches, restaurants, temples, Bali Barat National Park, and snorkeling trips organized by Kadek were all within reach. Mr. Kadek Sila and his family were wonderful, always ready to help, teach us a few words of bahasa indonesia, and introduce us to Balinese culture. I stayed for six months and loved it. Both rooms I used were clean, cozy, and felt private. Terima kasih banyak for having me, Kadek. See you soon, I can't wait to feel that Balinese sunshine again. It's so cold here! :D

A lovely family made us feel right at home, and they arranged a great dive refresher for me. The homestay was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with the feel of a beautiful little village. Highly recommend.
