Ayola First Point Hotel Pekanbaru

I left my earpod behind and asked the hotel to check. They found it, kept it safe, and sent it back to me. I really appreciate that and trust this hotel.

The location and the food were the two good parts of my stay. The ala carte food was really good, and the FB staff who served my family and me were courteous and hospitable. The rest needs attention: the lobby had debris on the floor, under the table, and beneath the couch. The room coaster had a coffee stain, and the tissues in the room and bathroom were so poor I was speechless 😂. The sprinkler in the room was covered in dust, though I don't know how long it had gone without cleaning. I also don't know when the pool last had water treatment. That dust and pool cleanliness are concerning, especially for guests with babies. Please improve the hospitality, cleanliness, and guest supplies. There was only one toothbrush for the whole room, no bath soap, and just shampoo. General cleaning during low occupancy would help. Guest amenities and supplies are part of the room cost, so guests should receive what they paid for. Thanks in advance.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was great, with a good range of food. I especially liked the coffee and the soup. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the room was clean and spacious. The pool was under maintenance when I visited, but it has a great view. All of that for under 500.000 Rupiahs is a great deal.

We booked four rooms and enjoyed our one night so much that we decided to stay an extra night. The hotel was comfortable and affordable, with room amenities that exceeded what I expected for the price. Service was top notch, and there’s a pool and gym as well. Having a free airport shuttle is another big plus.
