The place is in a strategic spot on Bali’s west coast, in Medewi, surrounded by fertile land and wide green fields. There are several beaches and surf breaks nearby, with black sand and waves known around the world, including orchid point, the longest left river point, right hander, rice paddy, other points, and beach break. They’re about a seven-minute ride by motorbike or car, or a 15-minute walk. We welcome surfers and anyone else interested in staying here. Room type: ocean view.

I’ve stayed here several times and always come away relaxed. The rooms are clean, and you can walk to fun waves. It’s a great place to get a feel for real Bali. Thanks, guys!

The place was clean and comfortable, and the host’s helper was always around whenever I needed anything. The breakfast wasn’t to my taste, though, and I had a few issues with the Wi-Fi.

There are four rooms in this nice place to stay. Two ground-floor rooms have air conditioning, while the other two don’t.

The view is breathtaking, and at $25 it’s a good deal, especially next to the hotel nearby that charges over $100. Still, the neighborhood was noisy, and there was a bad smell from burning tires. Harris was welcoming, but he offered surfing services for $30 for two hours. The lesson ended up lasting only an hour, and he didn’t explain much about surfing, so that’s why I gave it three stars.
