REZ Hotel Semarang

I’ve stayed here twice now, and Rez is where I’ll stay whenever I visit Semarang. I like every part of the hotel, especially the room design and atmosphere. Breakfast was good, the service was amazing, and I felt it was worth the price and the buzz around it. Thanks, I’m already looking forward to coming back.

This recently opened 4-star boutique hotel is right in the heart of the city. REZ Hotel Semarang has a modern monochrome look and minimalist style, with a polished feel that still comes across as very comfortable. Its photo-friendly atmosphere is a big part of what people like about it.

I stayed for 3D2N and found the room spacious and clean. Mine was non-smoking, and it was cool and tidy. The air conditioner worked okay, but it was too small to cool the whole room well, so only the area around my feet felt cool. There’s a small balcony with pleasant city lights, and the noise level was pretty alright.

I spent eight nights here, and the room was clean, cool, and neatly arranged, while the staff were welcoming and friendly. I did run into a small work-related problem, but the hotel didn’t offer help or a solution. I’ve had support in similar situations at other hotels, though I understand not every issue is easy to handle. Business guests need comfort along with service that responds to them, especially when attention to detail matters so much in hospitality. I hope management works on this, since the property has a lot of potential.
