The local food is the real draw here. Right outside, there's a street full of local shops and restaurants with amazingly cheap food and drinks. It's also very close to the airport, about a five minute taxi ride, and we even walked there. The rooms felt a bit sketchy, though. The sheets and floors were clean, but the headboards, walls and curtains were dirty. There were tiny flies sitting on the walls; they didn't move unless we tried to swat them, so I guess they were harmless. It works for a night before a flight, but the cleaning needs to be better.

The room wasn't very clean, and the facilities were limited. They didn't provide toiletries, the water heater was broken, and the bathroom door was broken too.

I booked through Expedia and got confused by the hotel names. The place is actually Global Inn hotel under Airy Syariah hotels, but there's also Wulan Syariah, apparently under Airy Syariah hotels. When I searched for Airy Syariah hotel, Wulan Syariah came up, so we went to the wrong place first and had to look for this one. Please rename the listing to Airy Syariah Global Inn to avoid that confusion. Wulan Syariah was wonderful, but this Global Inn stay wasn't satisfying. The AC didn't work, the hot water dispenser was broken, cold water wouldn't come through the shower, the shower flow was weak, and there was only one power outlet in the room. It didn't feel like a three star hotel. The hotel is down a dark, quiet alley that felt a bit scary at night, and may not suit women travelling alone. It could be okay for one night or a transit stay because it's near the airport. For what we paid, it was okay, but the poor facilities need fixing.

Under 200k got me a comfortable room with breakfast at the hotel. The airy room was great, and it's near Juanda Airport.

The room was so disgusting we left after an hour and booked somewhere else. Worst hotel I've ever set foot in.
