Le Mirage Villa Santai

Ray and Honey made our time at La Mirage villa so easy. They looked after us, served delicious food, and were a big help as we planned what to do. The local staff were just as friendly and attentive, checking in on us and keeping the rooms spotless. The grounds are beautiful, with a garden to wander through, excellent rooms, and a stunning pool. I'd definitely recommend a stay at La Mirage Villa.

Honey went out of her way for us, making a tonic when I had a stomach ache as well as a delicious breakfast and dinner. Ray had plenty of ideas for things to do nearby and arranged massages at the villa. They're both so warm and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and lovely, with clean, fresh sheets. We could properly relax to the sounds of frogs and fountains. The infinity pool is beautiful, and there are other pretty pools with fish and plants. The tap water is filtered and drinkable, and the fridge has all sorts of drinks. Highly recommend!

Honey is a terrific cook, and with the staff preparing meals, we could eat at the villa or head out to a local place. The hosts would suggest restaurants and book tables for us. Ray also made it easy to plan outings around Lovina, even with a big pool right at the villa. The six of us had such a relaxing, fun holiday and hope to come back. Le Mirage Villa felt like a dream. We stayed with friends in February, and the place was lovely. It only takes one group at a time, so the villa felt like our own private retreat. The rooms are spacious, with walk-in showers that have a view, double sinks, full-length mirrors, comfortable beds, quality sheets, good air conditioning, and fans.

Ray and Honey let us decide how much time we wanted to spend with them, whether we preferred chatting and getting recommendations or having more privacy in the beautiful villa. Their local connections and advice made a huge difference. They booked restaurants, activities, a driver, and a wonderful local masseuse who came to the villa. They also gave us useful guidance for the rest of our time in Bali. The villa was all ours, including its four rooms, pool, dining space, and gardens. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and we loved the pool. The property sits in lush forest, and koi fish help keep mosquitoes away from ponds near the main building. Tap water is drinkable throughout the property except at the garden taps, thanks to storage tanks and a rainwater filtration system. It was nice not having to worry about water from the bathroom sink or shower. Honey and the staff made delicious food with fresh ingredients. We could choose breakfast, including fresh croissants delivered from the nearby Buda Bakery at 8 am, or order from the in-house menu. For dinner, we told them what we wanted by 2 pm, and staff bought the ingredients at a local market. If you're vegetarian, Honey's gado-gado was one of my favourite dishes in Indonesia. There are two sweet cats who sleep on the outdoor tiles and sometimes let the cat lovers in our group pet them. Apparently they help keep rodents away. They're well trained, stick to the main villa area, and don't go into guest rooms. They'll come close if you call, when they feel like it. Thanks, Ray and Honey, for a lovely stay at LeMirage.
