Hotel Neo Borneo Singkawang

The staff are very nice, and the food is okay with plenty of choices. The location is okay too, though it's far from the main area. The rooms look old.

The infinity pool was a real highlight for me, with wide views over the mountains and city streets. There was also a children's pool where my child could enjoy the water safely. My child loved the Kids Corner as well, and breakfast had lots of delicious options each morning. I spent over three weeks here and have just checked out, genuinely impressed with my stay. From arrival, I was greeted warmly with a smile, an oshibori, and a refreshing buah pala welcome drink. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and ready to help. I can't name everyone, but their warmth and professionalism made the stay memorable. My room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The hotel sits in the heart of Singkawang, making attractions and amenities easy to reach. I also enjoyed the traditional Dayak Sape music performed live in the lobby lounge. I often had coffee there while listening to the soothing melodies. The TIDAYU concept, bringing together Tionghoa, Dayak, and Melayu cultures, gives the property an authentic and distinctive character. It was a comfortable and enriching stay, and I look forward to coming back.

Everything was great, though there weren't any ironing facilities in the room.

It's easy to find food nearby, and the hotel is close to lots of places. The rooms were clean and good, with some bathroom amenities. Service was good too, though the receptionists could be more polite and friendly to customers. The lift needs attention because sometimes we had to wait a long time. The bathroom really needs improvement. Whenever I stayed here, water pooled on the floor, which annoyed us. For a four-star hotel, I think that's a big problem.
