We cancelled the booking and asked traveloka for a full refund, then checked into another hotel. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here in jogjakarta. Stay away and don’t book this property. We’d bought two rooms the week before and thought everything was set, but when we arrived at the front office they’d only prepared one. We were exhausted after traveling from Bali. The reservation staff spoke loudly and rudely when we called. They offered one room, but it was humid and mouldy. Then they suggested a different property under the same management, with no transportation arranged. The reservation guy told the housekeeper to take us by motorbike, even though there were three of us and it was raining hard. Tired of the wait, we made our own way there. At the other property on flambouyant road, the room was leaking and uncomfortable. The whole ordeal took about three hours and left us emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausted. The one thing we’re thankful for was the housekeepers’ hospitality.
