The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the place was quiet and peaceful, a nice little escape from the busy city. But there was no mineral water at the breakfast buffet. It wasn't displayed, nobody told us where to get it, and the waitress didn't ask if we wanted any. That was enough to bring what would have been a 5/5 down to 4/5 at least. Keep improving. Thanks.

My partner and I were happy with our stay, despite the pool being dirty and the villa seeming short-staffed. There was just one person working in the restaurant, and she looked overwhelmed, though the service was good. I saw reviews calling the place “HORROR, CREEPY, HAUNTED,” but that's not true. We spent two nights here over New Year's Eve and got 50% off the base rate. The room was decent, and we loved the view and the quiet, lovely neighborhood.

The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality made the stay memorable, and the service was excellent from the moment I arrived. Khayangan Resort in Jogjakarta has striking architecture that mixes traditional Javanese style with modern comforts. My room was spacious and elegantly designed, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The thoughtfully chosen amenities and delicious food added to the feeling of being thoroughly pampered. I left feeling relaxed and would highly recommend it for a memorable, rejuvenating stay.

The room was smelly and filthy, with lots of bugs and stains on both the bedsheet and in the bathroom. There wasn't even a room key. We asked to move, but the replacement room was worse. Staff didn't apologize for the inconvenience, and they refused our refund request. They advertise this as a five-star resort or hotel, but the quality is far below even a one-star hotel. It feels like a total scam.

I was here for a friend's wedding, and the event was wonderful, glamorous but still family-friendly. The tropical garden and paddy fields around the venue made it feel like a real break from city life. A gentle breeze and friendly hospitality added to the relaxing atmosphere. Recommended!
