It’s tucked away in a neighborhood. Cars can come via Jl. Pandean Sari - Jl. Nuri (the Grab pickup point is Jogya Medical Center (JMC)), but the road is narrow and tight, so larger cars won’t fit. Motorbikes and people on foot can use the route near BBGTK DIY, which is also a Grab pickup point, though that road is narrow too. The entrance gate feels like you’re going through someone’s yard. The lane beside the garden is narrow and fairly dark at night. It’s better to book through the app to get a promo. They don’t accept payment at the property. I was confused on arrival because there was no attendant. You can look at the rooms first. There are rooms in the main house, near reception, and in the outside multi-story building. I chose the outside area for more space, on the first floor. There’s a clothes-drying area on the second floor. I washed clothes and they dried quickly, but they could blow away, so bring your own clothespins. The parking lot is spacious and can hold 5-6 cars, including a Hiace, but getting in is difficult because of the road. The room is about 10-12 m2, so there isn’t much room to move around. The bed is right against the wall, with the AC directly over your head. There’s a wardrobe near the window and a desk drawer too. They provide towels and a hot shower. There are lots of ants, so be careful with food. The guesthouse doesn’t provide meals, but there are lots of cheap food options nearby. You can use the shared kitchen for light cooking. There’s a mosque nearby for congregational prayers. It’s quiet, and the garden area is clean.

The location is in a densely populated area, and access is difficult for four-wheeled vehicles. But what really put me off was the receptionist. On my first stay, she was extremely rude and showed no friendliness at all. When I checked out, she didn’t even greet me. I was left to my room with my ID card on the reception desk. I’d advise skipping this place altogether.

I paid 472 thousand Rupiah and was very disappointed. The place is hidden, and the road is so narrow that only one car can pass. There was no mineral water, trash can, or soap, and the bathroom light was out. A pipe in the bathroom leaked and made such loud water noise that I couldn’t sleep. At 8:00 a.m. the electricity token was low, then the power went out when the credit ran out. A thief came in through the window, took my wallet, and threw it over the wall. The guard threatened my husband with a police report if I didn’t return it. In the end, he pretended to help search behind the wall and found it there. The CCTV wasn’t working. Do not stay here. Highly recommended.

The bed looked like it might collapse, and in the room I occupied the sheets, pillows, and mattress were dirty and stained. The bathroom handle was loose, the shower hose was broken, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. One security guard wasn’t enough, they were overwhelmed. I paid according to RedDoorz, but the items were lacking. Hopefully the owner can fix things. Thank you.
