We really appreciated the owner letting our band practice its parade here. We didn’t know where else we could practice with the time we had left, and without everyone’s help, I don’t think we could’ve managed it all. We were here for Piala Raja Hamengkubowono X, representing TOP DBC, and arrived around 8 p.m. Check-in was quick, and the rooms were ready and clean. The room felt compact but just right, with enough light to brighten the whole space, which sounds odd but some hotels are too dim. The bathroom door lock was a problem, though. My friends had to use a coin to turn the little keyhole and unlock it while I was in there. Breakfast had a decent selection, but I wish the food changed from time to time. There’s a pool with a small slide and a playground for kids, but the ball was gone, so we couldn’t play mini soccer there. For the price, I think it’s well worth it.

The pool was my favorite part of the stay at Victoria Hotel. It was refreshing, well maintained, and a nice place to unwind after a long day. The rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable enough for a short visit. Service was friendly, and the location makes it easy to get around Jogja. A pleasant option at a fair price if you want a good pool.

For a 4-star hotel, the price is quite affordable, and the spot behind Ambarrukmo Plaza is convenient while staying surprisingly quiet for the middle of a busy city. The interior feels a little dated and could use a refresh. Also, put out the “Do Not Disturb” sign if you don’t want housekeeping to come in, since they may enter to clean without being asked. I really liked the clean pool, which had no strong chlorine smell, and the small playground is useful for kids. Birds flying around added a lovely natural feel, something I don’t often see in Jogja. Overall, a pleasant stay for the price if you want somewhere peaceful and well located.

This was my worst hotel stay ever. The room smelled of cigarettes, and the fridge had someone else’s trash in it. They hadn’t cleaned properly, and even the bidet water was dirty. What were they doing? Don’t stay here!

The hotel’s in a modern building with warm decor, plus an airy lobby lounge and outdoor pool. It was clean, comfortable, and felt safe, with good service. Breakfast and parking were included. The location is handy too, about 4 km from Adisucipto International Airport and 5 km from the busy shopping street of Jalan Malioboro. A very nice place to stay. Thank you.
