The rooms are decent, and breakfast was excellent. But the fish tanks in the lobby really bothered me. Those huge fish are kept in a 120cm tank, and after seeing fish swim freely in Raja Ampat, that felt especially awful. This needs to change. They could release the fish and use a looping TV screen to show the beauty of Raja Ampat's aquatic life, or put local Papuan plants there instead. Animal cruelty isn't okay.

We had three cockroaches in the room, and it smelled very musty. The Wi-Fi was terrible, with just 1-2 MB/s download and upload. During our stay the gym had no air conditioning, and it was 32°C 😅. The hotel's ATMs don't work with foreign debit cards. The pool was very nice, and breakfast was a great buffet.

The rooms are cozy, the service is pleasant, and breakfast is nice. It has the best gym in town, along with a pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. For me, it's the best place to stay in sorong.

The staff were super friendly and the service was good, just amazing overall. I hope they can change the fish setup, since the fish only have water in there and nothing else.

The rooms were nice, but the lobby aquarium would make me give zero stars if I could. The fish are in what looks like a glass bottle with only water, no plants or anything, and not enough space. They seem very uncomfortable, and it's sad to see. This is unacceptable to me. Please rethink it, it isn't necessary to keep them that way. Release the fish, or at least move them to a bigger aquarium with plants.
