Bumi Cikeas Convention Resort

The pool was very clean, which I liked, and the place was quiet enough. The facilities weren’t all available. When I came during Ramadan, the restaurant wasn’t open. The room design is old, but overall it was good.

Breakfast was a real disappointment. It was supposed to be ready at 7.30, but when we arrived around 8, the food trays looked empty. They said there was no more egg or noodles when we asked for a refill, so we ate only what was left. The price was super expensive, maybe because it was the weekend, and we were very disappointed. The door key didn’t work, and they had no spare to fix it. We were told every room gets two sleeper shoes, but they weren’t given until we asked. We also had to ask for the towel for the bathroom floor.

The view is good, the room was decent though a little dirty for me, and the food was okay. I was in a deluxe double balcony room. It’s far from cafes and family restaurants, but there’s lots of street food nearby. Hospitality was nice, and the staff were amazingly friendly.

The sign says there’s a restaurant, but when we got inside there wasn’t one for us. The guy told us it was only for villa visitors. We tried to order, but the waiter sat there doing nothing and didn’t tell us at first that they had no food. We decided to leave.
