Cendana Premier Hotel Surabaya

The staff made a good impression, helping with our bags and often being there to open the door at check-in and check-out. The location worked well too, close to Tunjungan Plaza Mall and within reach of a hospital, court, and university. There are meeting rooms and a ballroom on the 2nd floor, and the restaurant is on the 9th floor, reached from the 8th. I stayed five days last week. The room was clean and comfortable, with enough room to move around, plus a sofa and small fridge. They also served a welcome drink, which was refreshing in Surabaya’s heat. The place is decent, and I’d consider staying again if some things get sorted out. A few issues got in the way. The Wi-Fi was slow enough to make working difficult, and the lift felt warm and was tiny, fitting around four or five people, or only two or three with luggage. The sink leaked a little and got some of my things wet, while the clean toilet still had a slight odor. I hope they address those maintenance problems and improve the Wi-Fi and facilities. If you’re walking around to eat, bring cash. Most nearby stalls, street vendors, and small restaurants don’t take QRIS.
