Luxpoint Hotel Surabaya

The receptionist was helpful when I asked to move rooms, and breakfast really was amazing, as the review that first drew me here had said. The soup could use a little more spice. But there were several things that disappointed me: pillars in some rooms block the window, and mine had one, so it felt like nighttime all the time. The bathroom wasn’t properly clean, and there was rust on the shower. The air conditioner took forever to cool the room, which stayed really hot, and the refrigerator had the same problem. I suggest fixing both as soon as possible.

The air conditioning and fridge both worked poorly. For a low budget, I’d still recommend it, but my overall experience was 4 out of 10.

Not clean, and the service was very bad. There was no coffee, tea or hot water, and the shower only ran warm, not hot. A very bad hotel. I won't come back.

A clean, very nice budget hotel, though the hallway is quite narrow. There are a few local universities nearby. It’s fine as a place to rest, but don’t expect other services.
