Oakwood Hotel & Residence Surabaya

I was there for two business nights and had a spacious one bedroom serviced apartment. The location was strategic, and the food for suhoor and breaking the fast was good.

On arrival, I was able to leave my luggage in the morning. Around noon I got a WhatsApp saying the room was ready, and my bags had already been brought up. I also received a free upgrade, a lovely surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay at Oakwood Hotel. The room was clean and well equipped, with a full kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, and tableware for about four people. There were two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I worked from the room that day and went to my seminar later in the afternoon. The next morning I spent some time at the pool beside the gym. The water didn’t smell strongly of chlorine and towels were available. The one little inconvenience was that the shower area is outdoors, which makes changing afterward awkward. Thanks to the Oakwood Hotel team for a great experience!

Oakwood was a great first stay for me. The car park was spacious and the location was good. Check-in was wonderful, and I got a complimentary room upgrade too. My room was clean, roomy and just right in every way. Thank you, Oakwood Hotel.

I stayed here on a business trip and had a nice experience. The rooms are large with great features, the service is top notch, and the public facilities are well maintained. The semi outdoor pool is big enough for laps as long as it isn’t too crowded. Breakfast suited my palate, which is rare for hotel buffets I’ve tried. The location is strategic, fairly close to ITS and the Pakuwon area. There was some vehicle noise even from the 9th floor, and I could hear chairs moving in the morning. If you’re sensitive to noise, you may want something to cover your ears. They could perhaps improve the soundproofing. Thanks for the hospitality.
