Red Chilies Hotel

It was pouring at midnight and I had nowhere to stay, but this hotel gave me a warm, dry, cozy night at an affordable price. They were really helpful when things were bad. Worth trying 👍

A scam! The room looked completely different from the pictures, and they sent us to a different building 100m away. The rooms were dirty and unbelievably smelly, and even the bedsheets and blanket were dirty and smelled bad. Avoid this stay at all costs.

I’m really disappointed. The bed was comfortable, but the linen was old and needs replacing. One bedside light and two sockets didn’t work. All evening, several people sat by the lifts drinking and smoking, blatantly ignoring the no smoking signs. I can’t think of a positive thing to say, apart from the fact I only booked one night. Please find another hotel. Book this only as a last resort. The hotel looked nothing like the online photos and felt very outdated. The room was tired, with peeling wallpaper and shoe footprints on several spots on the walls. The bathroom needed a good clean, with a stained and discoloured wash basin and toilet, a clogged shower with white limescale stains, and cracked, badly stained floor tiles. The inner curtains were dirty grey, though they’d originally been white.

The deluxe room was spacious for three people, hot water ran well, the room facilities were fine, and the price was okay at 320k for three people with breakfast. There were a few dirty spots on the bedsheet, though, and the chicken at breakfast was too salty and hard to chew. It’s near tirtonadi, an ATM, an alfamart, and the bus terminal. The mall with food and refreshments is a bit farther away.
