It’s a decent option for living, with a location close to many places and the toll road. The pool is standard and not very large, nothing fancy. The property is still new, so everything looks fresh, with no peeling or bad smells in the corridors. Parking is fairly spacious. Studio sizes seem to start at 19 m2, though the bedroom depends on what you buy and how you set up the apartment.

There’s a decent prayer area in the basement, though it has no carpet. The facilities are okay, but I wish there were a supermarket, café, or restaurant downstairs like at silk wood. In the south tower, it seems like only two of the four elevators usually work. The apartment starts to smell after a while, maybe because of the grease trap. I guess it needs regular cleaning, but I’m still not sure how to get rid of the smell completely.
We’ve lived here from March 2017 through 2023 and still counting. It’s comfortable and well located, and the receptionists and security staff are friendly, smile at us, and are great with kids. We’re happy here. Paddington heights apartment has its own culture and feels like a family. There have been problems with the unit, including a leaking pipe and a broken exhaust, but the maintenance team has been very helpful and sorted them out. The grease trap needs routine cleaning, and ants or sometimes tomcats can show up, so keeping things clean every day helps. Nothing in this world is perfect, you just have to work on the imperfections.
The smell is a major problem in these apartments, and I’d think twice before moving in. Every unit has a grease trap under the kitchen sink, and if you don’t clean the nasty thing weekly, the apartment smells. The building’s pipes seem to be set up wrong, so sewer gas gets back into the unit. The outflow pipe doesn’t extend below the water level, which is why the gas can rise into the air in the apartment. My wife and I both got a horrible parasite infection, and the medical bills were over 4jt. I can’t prove the source, but I’m concerned about sewer gas, which I believe is poisonous. There are also tomcats all over the apartment, bugs that can spread poison through contact with sheets, clothes, and other things. After I spent a month telling building management about the issue, showing them, and having third-party plumbers verify it, they ignored it and made ridiculous excuses, like saying a unit down the hall smelled and was leaking into ours. When I threatened to go to the government counsel, they finally agreed to add the proper valve to block the gas, but removed the box. They capped the pipe and the smell stopped for two days. Then they put the box back the same way, with no fix. There are a lot of fake reviews on here. Think twice before moving in, you may regret it. In the photo, I circled in red what the outflow pipe should look like to keep sewer gas from coming back into the apartment.
The odor is horrible. Apparently the grease traps under the sinks in all the apartments are a big problem, with sewer gas leaking back up. You also have to clean the trap every week like you’re working in a commercial kitchen. It’s gross and unnecessary. I’m surprised the city counsel allows the place to operate.
