Getting a massage at the hotel with jungle sounds in the background was wonderful, and breakfast was really good too. My room at Harsa was clean and just right, surrounded by jungle. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. I had an incredible stay and would love to come back.

The staff were attentive and helped us arrange excursions, as well as a great driver. The peaceful setting and our room made for an incredible stay. One thing to keep in mind: the driveway is very steep, which felt a little scary to walk or drive down, especially in the rain. Since the resort sits in a steep valley, there are also quite a few stairs between places around the hotel.

The people here were so warm and welcoming. I especially liked hearing receptionist Yanti's stories about the area and Bali, and Putri and the rest of the restaurant team gave us perfect service. The rooms are beautifully designed and well cared for. The hotel sits in a lovely valley that really feels like jungle. It smells of flowers, and in the evening you can hear nature waking up. I hope I get to stay again.

Harsa is a great base for visiting major temples, seeing village life, or going to the larger coffee plantations. We got into the heart of Ubud easily by Grab and with a private driver. Its location in the north part of Ubud suited the quiet, restorative Bali trip we wanted. The hotel is beautifully designed and has a boutique feel. The staff were attentive, especially Ayu and Adi, who made sure we were comfortable. The adjoining spa Alamora was fabulous too.
