Ki Ma Ya Retreat

The staff were so kind and helpful, always ready to assist, and their hospitality made a big difference to our stay. Our room was spotless and carefully cleaned, and we enjoyed the lovely breakfast. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here. It’s wonderfully quiet, with a comforting view over the rice fields, and the pool was beautiful, well maintained, and great for relaxing after a day out. The property is an easy motorbike ride from busy central Ubud, and they arranged scooters for us. They were the best we had during our whole month in Bali, smooth, new, and well looked after. We’d be very happy to come back.

The staff were lovely and easy to communicate with, and the rooms were spacious with AC and daily cleaning. It’s a nice little place, about 15 minutes from Ubud city centre on Grab bikes. I only gave it four stars because there were ants in my omelette. After that, I ordered only the fresh fruit and juice each morning.

Set at the edge of the jungle, this resort is a little outside Ubud centre, which makes it feel peaceful and quiet. It’s still only about a 10-minute drive to the centre and 15 minutes by scooter to Tegallalang Rice Terraces. The staff were amazing, friendly, and always willing to help, and the place was clean and well maintained. You can book a Balinese massage there, and they have rental scooters for exploring the area. The pool was nice for cooling off after a day out. A very good place to stay and worth booking.
