The Kampung Resort Ubud

We were sad to leave after a week, which says plenty. Our little terrace was a lovely place to relax or get some work done, and the whole guest house is lush with flowers and trees. There are scooters for rent and laundry available. The cute, cozy boutique hotel has a handful of huts and bungalows, a pool, and a beautiful jungle view. Staff were friendly and helpful with our questions about the area, culture, and traditions, and we got some really interesting insights. Breakfast was good, with lunch and dinner options too.

We planned on three days and stayed five. It’s peaceful and pretty, away from the busy areas but close enough to reach the rice terraces by scooter. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was very good, and breakfast was included with several tasty choices. Try the Balinese breakfast. The staff and owners were lovely and always helpful. Thanks to everyone who made the stay so good, I’d happily come back.

The owner was kind and let us change our dates when our plans suddenly shifted. The setting is stunning, with a small creek and jungle hills in view, and waterfalls and temples nearby. Rooms were clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was great, especially the Balinese rice pudding. I’d absolutely recommend it.

If you love quiet and nature and need to unwind, this place feels like a little piece of heaven. The views, trips, and other activities give you plenty to choose from, and there’s a lovely terrace too. It’s a family-run boutique hotel beside the family’s home, with around five or six staff members you’ll meet. Everyone was great, especially the young man at the bar, and they made us feel very welcome. It may have been the best place I’ve stayed, as long as you’re not expecting a five star resort.
