Everything else was good, but getting to the main street was a problem. There are two routes from the room, and the shorter one goes past the owner's dog. It kept chasing and biting at me when I tried to take that shortcut, so I had to use the longer way every time. I hope the owner will tie the dog up or keep it in the yard.

I stayed at Anugrah Jaya Guesthouse for two months, from November to December. The rainy season brought mold problems, and it damaged the clothes I had in the closet. Still, I found the place quiet, clean, and well organized, with a water dispenser, hot shower, kitchen, and fridge. Having a desk in each room was especially useful and made my stay comfortable. Thanks a lot to the owner of Anugrah Jaya Guesthouse!

The shared kitchen made it easy to put together breakfast or other meals and save a bit instead of eating out three times a day. My room was cozy and clean, the AC worked really well, the bed was better than I expected, and the bathroom was pretty big. Everything was very good. I’ve tried a lot of guesthouses and retreats around Bali over the last couple of years. For such a low price, Anugrah Jaya guesthouse is easily one of the best places to stay if you’re looking for somewhere cheap. Komang, the owner, is lovely, and I’m really happy to know her now. I can highly recommend it!

Komang was absolutely lovely and responded quickly whenever I needed something. I felt very safe during my five weeks here, and I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Canggu. The value is great: a spotless room cleaned almost daily, a comfortable enormous bed, and amazing AC. There’s a cute garden, a kitchen with free drinking water, and the Wi-Fi was great. It’s in a great location, and you can rent a scooter directly from the hosts. I’d recommend it 100%.
