I spent four months living at Villa Krishna and loved it. The villa is spacious, beautiful and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Even in the rainy season I could work there without any trouble. It's right in the center of Ubud but away from street noise. Everyone working at Putra Villa was friendly, respectful and always willing to help. Agung, the owner, went above and beyond to keep guests happy. I can't recommend Bali Putra Villa enough, and I'll definitely return when I'm back in Ubud.

We felt at home during our perfect four-month stay in the first villa at Bali Putra, even during COVID. Everyone was accommodating every day. The room came with water, coffee and tea, plus a full fridge and stovetop, and the pool was the cleanest we've seen. They also have larger villas with private pools if that's what you're after. The photo is of the cute, friendly fish at our villa. I'd recommend it 100%.

The area is relaxing, with an entertaining street nearby full of shops and restaurants. Our spacious villa had a private pool, though I'm not sure if every villa does, and there was also a very nice shared pool at the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the owner even more so. We had a really nice stay. Definitely recommendable, and not expensive at all by my western salary standards.

The location was great, and I loved relaxing on the second-floor balcony, which made me feel like I was in the middle of the jungle. My villa was very rustic, though. I don't know what the others are like, but I may have ended up with the worst one. Showering was difficult because the water was either boiling hot or cold. I eventually figured out I had to keep turning it off and on to hold a reasonable temperature. If you don't mind a little run-down, you might like it here.

We had a great stay at Bali Putra Villa and would happily return. The villa had a private pool and the service was good. Its Ubud location was really handy, close to the Monkey Forest, restaurants, spas and museums. There’s also great street food by the petrol station.
