The location was the only real plus for me, since it’s not too far from Ubud. I booked through Agoda because the rate was so cheap, but the room was dirty and the bathroom was a mess. It looked poorly managed. There was only one staff member looking after the hotel and guests, so I can see how it got that way. I wouldn’t choose this place if comfort is what you’re after.

The building looks new, though there isn’t much of a view. Nights were very quiet despite the road-facing position, and the hot water, TV and air conditioning all worked well. It’s about a 20-minute motorbike ride to Monkey Forest, and there’s plenty of motorbike parking. I did wish there were a place to hang clothes and wet towels. Also, for some reason, there was nobody around when I checked out in the morning.

Terrible stay. The staff were incredibly arrogant, the place was filthy, there was pee on the sheets and the toilet was dirty. The shower only had cold water. Please don’t book here. Absolutely horrible.
