The room we moved to made a huge difference. Downstairs and nearer breakfast, it had a working bath, a decent shower, and no noise. Those last few days were fabulous. The staff were great, the infinity pool was lovely, and breakfast was decent. Our first room, upstairs near reception, was another story. The bath took ages to fill, and the shower pressure was so weak it barely counted as a shower. A nearby bar played live music until almost 1am, loud enough that it felt like it was right outside our door and made it hard to talk. Then the booming noise carried on until 3am, so I spent much of the morning catching up on sleep. If we’d stayed in that room, I probably would have had to shower somewhere else. So it was a mixed stay. I’d come back only if I could get a downstairs room, away from reception and close to the infinity pool.
