The location worked really well for me: I could walk to Penestanan and central Ubud, yet still get away from the crowds and enjoy some quiet. The villa was spacious, clean, and well looked after, with rice field views, fast WiFi, a kitchen, and regular cleaning. I could also rent a scooter right from the property, which was handy for anyone who rides. The hosts were kind and accommodating, helping with luggage, transport, and local tips before and during my stay. The experience was even better than the listing led me to expect, and I'd gladly book it again on another trip to Ubud.

I stayed for about two weeks and felt right at home. The balcony view was so peaceful, and Casa Curandera restaurant is only about three minutes away. It's a fantastic, very clean and dry apartment, with super friendly staff. Getting into the city by Gojek or Grab is easy. Highly recommend it. 🙏

Novi and Kadek were lovely, quick to respond, and made the place feel comfortable. The apartment was beautiful, with working airconditioning, kitchen, and bathroom, plus comfy furniture and black out curtains. We could rent a really nice, easy-to-ride motorbike directly from them. The cleaner was friendly, thoughtful, and flexible too. There are lots of good Warungs and restaurants nearby, and the center is a short scooter ride away. The shared swimming pool was clean and well maintained. We were really glad to stay with local hosts. Great experience, worth every penny!

We spent a really relaxing month here. The unit matched the description and photos, and the hosts were great, answering questions quickly and even arranging our laundry. There are some wonderful restaurants nearby, and the Buddha plunge pool is lovely and cool, a big plus for me. We wanted somewhere outside Ubud, and this suited us. It's about a 15-minute scooter ride, though the time depends on Ubud traffic, which can get very busy.

We came planning to stay for a month and ended up here for six. It's quiet, super clean, with gorgeous rice field views and a lovely family. A perfect place to stay. We'll be back.
