Dana Jaya Villa

Management was great to deal with while I was arranging rooms and making a deposit at Dana Jaya Villa. When our current villa had a cancellation and could keep us in our existing rooms, they kindly refunded the deposit. The units are clean and close to food and Titi Batu gym club. I was very pleased with the experience, and may stay there sometime during my few months in Bali.

The staff were kind and ready to help, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was really nice. There’s also a small kitchen-like area where you could make something like instant noodles, though there are places to eat nearby. Cleanliness was the main drawback. My whole family got mosquito bites, and we used our beach towels instead of the provided sheets because they were stained. Lots of lizards come out at night. It’s close to Ubud Market, the Monkey forest, and other places. You can’t walk there, but renting a scooter for the day or using Grab makes it fairly easy to get there and back. Grab can be hard to find when returning to the villa.

A really nice stay in the Ubud area. The hosts were welcoming and helped us out, including when I left my sunglasses in a taxi. It was easy to find a cheap ride to the city center or arrange a tour of nearby places. We had a nice experience.

A friend suggested Dana jaya villa, and choosing it was a good decision during my Ubud trip. The room was spacious and clean, the AC worked well, and the WiFi was fast. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the shared pool area was very well maintained. It was worth the price. The hosts can help arrange a motorbike rental or a private driver. One of the staff, Loka, can also give you plenty of advice about places to visit in Ubud. I recommend it to anyone coming to Ubud. Five stars from me. - Rio Rodriguez
