The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, and the location is handy for everything while still feeling quiet. Breakfast is yummy, and the pool is perfect for cooling down after a hot day out. My room had what I needed, including AC, a comfy bed, and a bidet. For the price, this place can’t be beat. Love it!

I come back every year because this place feels like family in Bali. Tarini and her family are so kind and there whenever you need them. The location is lovely too, quiet and surrounded by nature, but an easy walk to the centre. The rooms are big and clean, and breakfast is really good. It was awful, and I almost never give such a low rating because my reviews are usually positive. The hotel ruined everything. You can’t get there by car, only through a narrow, dark lane where even two motorcycles can’t pass side by side. At 8:30 pm the grounds were dark, and reception looked dusty and abandoned. We nearly left, and honestly should have, but a staff member came out at the last minute. She seemed to live somewhere on the property, showed us the room, switched on the AC, and brought a thermos of hot water for tea. We were exhausted and tried to shower and sleep, but ants were nesting on the bathroom window and kept falling into the water and onto us. Outside the bedroom window, drops from the AC above hit an iron roof loudly all night. I don’t mind frogs and other nature sounds, but the room has no soundproofing, and it was a cacophony. Then around midnight the AC shut off, showed Error f0, and wouldn’t start again no matter what we tried. And the breakfast everyone praises? An omelet with flavor enhancer and garlic. Guys, I don’t know what you usually eat.

Tarini is such a warm, easygoing person and helps with whatever you need. The breakfast is delicious, and hot water is served with it. Ask and she’ll bring some at any time, or make breakfast early if you need it. The location is great for walking everywhere, yet the place itself is quiet. The room had everything I needed, a huge comfortable bed, AC and a fan. The pool is lovely, and the green patio feels like a garden where you can relax. Highly recommended, you’ll be happy here! The bathroom door in my room wouldn’t close. I was alone, so it didn’t bother me.
