GDAS Bali Health and Wellness Resort

From the welcome drink at check-in to having our luggage brought to the room, the hospitality was the best I’ve experienced. The room was impressive, and the shared spaces, pools, sauna, and gym were amazing. Food and drinks were great, too. Everything was so well cared for and pristine, which must be difficult in the middle of nature and Ubud’s weather. A luxury stay from start to finish. I work in hospitality myself, and a few small changes might help: bins under the bathroom sink, metal straws for drinks, and a rethink of the fitness area. It’s open and gets too hot, so bigger or stronger fans would help. An insect lamp or something similar would be useful there as well. Those are minor points, though. The property and service were impeccable, and we’re definitely coming back.

Rudy, one of the managers, took such good care of us, and we’ll definitely be back. The resort is one of the most beautiful in Ubud, with immaculate grounds and comfortable, perfect accommodations. Its treatments and facilities are very impressive. The restaurant is fully vegan, and everything we tried was delicious.

We spent two nights at Gdas Wellness Resort in Ubud for our honeymoon and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully designed, a lovely place to unwind. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We aren’t vegan, but the food exceeded our expectations: it was delicious, beautifully presented, and had plenty of choices. The spa and massage treatments were among the best we’ve had, and the fitness facilities were excellent. It felt like a true sanctuary, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud, whether you’re interested in wellness or simply want a serene, luxurious getaway.

The villas are spacious and private, with thoughtful natural materials and lovely details. Waking to jungle views and fresh air was special. Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort is tucked away from Ubud’s busy center, surrounded by greenery and the calming sounds of nature, so it feels like a peaceful retreat. Its wellness offerings stood out: yoga, spa treatments, and personalized programs were all top-notch, and the staff were warm, attentive, and clearly wanted our stay to be restorative. The food was healthy, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of plant-based choices that still tasted great. This is more than a place to sleep, it’s a luxurious, tranquil reset for solo travelers, couples, or anyone wanting to recharge physically and mentally.
