Iman Homestay Ubud

A no-frills place with a very kind owner, a great location, and a good price. I stayed three nights. Each room has a small verandah for sitting outside, and the shower was good. The place is a bit run down and damp inside, though. The bathroom mirror and sink weren't very clean, and the room lock didn't work well. I'd recommend it for the budget and location.

I first came here for two weeks when I had just arrived in Bali, and the owners made me feel at home straight away. They're always so kind and smiley. The rooms are clean and bright, and the simple homemade breakfast is delicious. This is my favourite guesthouse in Bali, and I'll always keep it in my heart. Strongly recommend!

We felt at home here, with caring Balinese hosts and a great location that was still quiet and felt safe. Jalan Goutama is right outside, with its restaurants, cute cafes, varied places to eat, and little boutiques. Getting Grab transport from the top or bottom of Jalan Goutama worked perfectly, so drivers didn't have to deal with the whole one-way road system. Breakfast was made with love and filling, with more fruit than we got at expensive accommodation in Legian. Ubud's traffic can be a challenge, so staying in the center and getting around on foot, by scooter, Grab, or local driver worked well for us. We'll certainly return and highly recommend Sudana Homestay for affordable accommodation in the heart of Ubud.

I spent 1.5 months here and really enjoyed it. There's a nice atmosphere and lots of good places to eat nearby. It's right in the heart of Ubud, yet quiet and comfortable. I felt at home and will definitely come back.
