A few minutes’ walk from the center of Ubud, the hotel was well located. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and very good. My first-floor room was bright and spacious, with clean bedding and a bathroom that was clean and had hot water. The air conditioning worked well, and the terrace had beautiful views. Getting to the room meant going along a rather narrow passage and up a few steep steps. The downside is the street nearby, which is constantly occupied by scooters.

Everything was super clean, and the location was excellent without being too loud. The hosts were really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Wonderful experience at Japa Hostel. Highly recommended!

The balcony looks out on a lovely view, and even though this place is right in central Ubud, it stays quiet and feels private with just 2 rooms. Everything was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious. The owner was friendly, too. It had all the essentials at a good price, and I’d happily stay again.

I could get around Ubud on foot and never needed a car. The room was very clean and felt in line with what I paid. Breakfast was really tasty, especially the pancakes and tea. My only gripe was the stairs leading up to the room.

Rini was a lovely host, and the breakfast was good. The room was clean, and Ubud market was an easy walk away. Taxi service was available too. The stairway is pretty narrow, so it could be awkward with several large bags, and it gets quite dark at night.
