Kampung Sari Homestay

It’s a quiet place tucked just off the main street, with everything close by. The rooms are great for an amazingly low price. Breakfast comes to the table on the balcony outside your room at whatever time you request. They were also accommodating when I arrived late at night, and keeping my luggage after check out was no problem. When I left, they even offered me a protective bracelet. There are a lot of stairs, as with many places in Ubud, so it won’t suit you if you can’t manage those. I’d love to stay here again.

I spent a week here and loved it so much that I wanted to stay longer. Such a lovely, caring, kind family and an amazing place.

The room was spotless, the air conditioning was powerful, and the view was stunning. Staff were friendly, and the stay was delightful. The location was convenient too. We were lucky to have only carry-on bags, because there are lots of stairs, and getting luggage up to the room can be hard, especially if you want a better view.

I loved how welcoming and thoughtful the host family was. She helped me book a traditional Balinese cooking class, which I really enjoyed, and I met some nice people there. The location is perfect for exploring central Ubud. Everything is so close that I didn’t use a taxi at all, though I did use a bike a few times. I’ll definitely come back and stay here again!
