Kubu Darma Villa Ubud

I spent two months at Kubu Darma and felt at home from the day I arrived. Komang and Koming are lovely and always there to help with whatever you need. The shared pool is wonderful, and my room was very comfortable. The location is hard to beat: close to Ubud centre, yet surrounded by nature and away from noisy streets. There are cute cafes, restaurants, and yoga studios nearby. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you so much, Komang and Koming 🙏🏼💓

The owners, Komang and Koming, make you feel at home straight away. They’re kind, warm, and accommodating, and do what they can to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with large bathrooms that have both a shower and bathtub. Each unit also has its own kitchenette and enclosed little patio, so it feels like your own private Balinese home. You can walk to Ubud centre, or reach town in about five minutes by motorbike. Some great local warungs serving Indonesian and Western food are right around the corner. It’s a lovely way to experience Ubud.

The garden and pool are so relaxing, and the rooms are clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Kubu Darma has come to feel like home and family to me in Bali. The host family are caring and attentive from day one, and help with whatever you need, from scooter rental and day trip bookings to local tips. There are delicious warungs within walking distance in the village, and you can also walk to Ubud centre or Campuhan Ridge Walk. I can’t recommend the place enough.

Komang was wonderful and helped whenever I had questions or needed anything. The hosts are very kind, and the apartment is clean and comfortable, with excellent kitchen and bathroom amenities. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.
