NamaStay Hostel

I only planned to stay a few nights, but now I’ve been here for two weeks and keep extending my stay. The location works really well for me, close to restaurants, yoga and Pilates studios, and a gym. Staying here turned out to be the best decision. I did complain at first about the weak water pressure in the bathroom. They fixed it, so I have nothing else to complain about. I honestly tried looking at other hotels in the same price range, but whenever I compared what they offered with the quality and price here, the others seemed overpriced. That’s why I’m still staying. It’s quiet, which is great if you need to get work done, and the wifi is FAST. It’s clean, I’m allowed to cook, and motorbike rental is just a call away. Laundry is available here, or there’s a cheaper place one minute’s walk away. I’d definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

At $19 CAD a night, I was seriously impressed. My room was private, clean, air-conditioned, and had its own shower, plus good WiFi and free Netflix. The hosts were friendly, there was free water, and Monkey Forest and restaurants were nearby. I booked for a month and got a good rate, so your price may vary, but I liked the place enough to almost keep it to myself. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.

It’s a quiet, safe-feeling spot just outside central Ubud, close to Monkey Forest and away from the crowds. We loved the family who run it, they were always ready to help. There’s a fountain for refilling drinking water in the morning, which came in handy. Our bedroom was clean and had Netflix, and the bathroom is semi-outdoors. Breakfast is available if you want it.

I’ve stayed here several times and have tried both the dorms and double rooms. It’s right in the middle of Ubud, yet still so peaceful. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and make the place feel like family. One of my favourite hostels anywhere.
