Nida Rooms Ubud Monkey Forest 18981 At Wenara Bali Bungalow

Wenara Bali Bungalows is tucked close to the Monkey Forest, and I could reach the cafes, shops and sights on foot in about 15 minutes. It felt removed from the traffic and crowds, though monkeys sometimes scampered over the tin roofs or fought nearby in the middle of the night. I even liked seeing little visitors outside my room or on a nearby roof. The rates were very reasonable, the room was spacious and clean, and the pool was calm and lovely. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. It’s a quaint little place.

The location is handy if you can put up with the noise, but there are much nicer places in Ubud for what this costs. We booked three nights and left soon after checking in. The room was mostly fine, but the walls barely kept out sound, and the traffic and neighbours were too loud for us. The bathroom had shampoo but no soap, and the bed came with just two pretty flat pillows.

The breakfast was fantastic, and you can see the Monkeys!! The bungalows were really clean, and the staff were friendly and wonderful. They were always cleaning the shared areas too. Amazing place, 100% recommend.

The staff were cheerful and really helpful. My room had a strange smell, though, and the shower in room 8 was poor. Even after it was cleaned out, the pressure was still really weak. The water was cold too, but after walking around and sweating all day, that actually felt nice.
