Outpost Ubud Penestanan Coworking and Coliving

I felt at home here, and the team made my stay especially meaningful while I was doing my Yoga Teacher Training next door. My days were full, but they still found time to be helpful and supportive, which I deeply appreciated. Leni’s warm, kind presence really stood out and made the experience personal and special. Outpost Ubud feels authentic, with beautiful rooms, a calm atmosphere, and caring service. The location is convenient, right beside Alchemy, and Ubud center is under five minutes away by scooter. It’s peaceful while still being easy to get around. I truly enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it.

The hotel is tucked away from busy streets, and it’s convenient for getting to restaurants and a mart. But the room wasn’t for me. The floor was uneven, the shower head was too high even for me at 163 cm, and the room didn’t get much sunlight. It also smelled damp. Soundproofing was terrible when the neighbors were loud. With no breakfast included, I don’t think it was good value for the price.

I liked this coworking space in Ubud, though I’d give the rooms four stars rather than five for a few reasons. The internet connection wasn’t secure, so I ended up buying a VPN, which I hadn’t expected to need at a coworking space. The glass workspace looks beautiful, but glare made it hard to use, and the tables were much too high for the chairs. I ended up working in a T-rex posture, which wasn’t comfortable. Air conditioning is only available in the silent rooms. That might be a deal breaker for some people, and during the month I was there, three days passed when every seat in an AC room was taken.

The room was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was great, and the amenities were OK. You won’t be short of anything, though the place felt a little pricey for what it offers. I was surprised there was no desk in the room, since they cater to digital nomads and people working on laptops. The location is great, right across from Alchemy Yoga Center. My room was by the pool, and the coworking space is on the third-floor rooftop. I bought an additional coworking pass but didn’t use it: it rained through almost my entire two-day stay, and carrying my things upstairs was really inconvenient because the path from my room to the staircase wasn’t covered.
