Paisa Ubud

We had a lovely three-night stay in this little spot. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good quality, and the A/C and free WiFi worked well. Water, amenities, and fresh towels were supplied daily. Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was ready when we arrived. The pool was nice for cooling off, though a few slates on the bottom felt a bit sharp on bare feet. We could hear the neighbours and the people living beside the hotel, including chickens, but it didn’t bother us or affect our stay. Would recommend!

The only small drawback was that it’s a bit farther from central Ubud than we’d hoped, though there are still a couple of cafes within walking distance. The garden was lovely and made the place feel relaxing, and it was quiet. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom had little extras like cotton tips and toothbrushes. Breakfast came with the price and was well worth it. It was restaurant-quality food, cooked by a chef who had worked in a restaurant before, with several choices including juice and tea or coffee. The small pool was right in front of our room and refreshing for a swim. We stayed two nights recently and had a positive, enjoyable visit. Definitely worth what we paid.

The room and toilet were clean and modern. The staff were very helpful, though their English wasn’t great, so I used Google Translate. Breakfast was delicious, and they brought it up to the room. The location suited me: a 10-15min walk from the Main Street, close enough to get there without the noise and traffic. I’d recommend it.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The hotel is a good fit if, like us, you prefer somewhere away from busy, crowded areas. Cafes, motorcycle rental shops, and a convenience store are nearby. The garden felt relaxing, and we enjoyed seeing cocks and dogs in the neighborhood. There’s a pool, though we didn’t use it. Breakfast was included, and the restaurant-quality food was worth it, with several choices of juice, tea, and coffee. Our clean room was tidied daily, with a comfortable bed and white, comfortable bedding. The bathroom had cotton tips and toothbrushes, and there was an electric kettle with two mugs plus tea and coffee for an afternoon tea ritual. Overall, my husband and I had a very positive, enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!
