Pertiwi at Bisma 2

We stayed from 1 May to 6 May 2026. Most things were good, though a few details could use attention. The room path isn't suitable for luggage, so you have to carry bags to the room. The breakfast was very limited and, compared with the other two hotels we stayed at, not up to standard. We had to buy shampoo and shower gel because the dispensers weren't refilled during our stay. The hairdryer was too weak for blow-drying, the TV reception was poor, and we had to figure out how to work the aircon remote because it didn't function properly.

We had a great weekend with Doni as our private driver, arranged by Pertiwi Bisma Ubud. He was especially lovely with our son, patient and warm with kids. He was also open, friendly, and easygoing, and made every trip feel smooth. All weekend he was punctual, flexible about our plans, and genuinely kind. He drove confidently on Bali's busy, challenging roads. We'd wholeheartedly recommend Doni to anyone looking for a reliable, lovely driver in Ubud.

The staff's warmth and professionalism were what made this hotel stand out for me. Everything about the stay was excellent, and I'll definitely return. Doni, our driver, deserves a special mention for being so friendly and making the ride really pleasant.

At around $40 per night, this was great value for the five nights I stayed. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. I enjoyed both clean, pleasant pools and the beautiful grounds so much that I took photos. There's also a spa on the property. I paid around $30 for a 90-minute massage and was very pleased with it. Restaurants and convenience stores are nearby, and it's about a 15-minute walk to central Ubud or across the bridge to the Monkey Sanctuary. I'd consider staying here again if I return to Ubud.
