I’m not usually fussy, but the toilet wasn’t clean when I checked in and smelled bad. The bed sheet wasn’t clean either. The place itself was nice.

The staff were quite friendly, but that was the only positive part of my month there. Housekeeping was poor the whole time, and cleanliness was awful. There was no hot water. The owner was completely unreasonable and even tried to charge more than the price shown online. Dirty and dishonest. I don’t recommend this place at all.

I booked this place through an app one day ahead, hoping to get some rest early after a business trip to ubud and avoid the evening traffic. Before I arrived, they told me a staff member would meet me on the main road and help park my car. I waited around 20 minutes, then suddenly got a message from the staff saying sorry, all roon full booked. After wasting that time, I had to find somewhere else to stay. Be careful choosing this place, and have another option ready in case they suddenly say there’s no room, even if you booked and chatted with the staff the day before. So rate:.... U named it. Hope they can improved one day and this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

We booked two rooms with kitchenettes and breakfast included, but the room itself was average and the bathrooms were awful. One had a leaking ceiling over the sink, so drops landed on your head if you tried to wash your hands, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. That bathroom was only useful for showering. In the other, the water was either hot or cold, with no temperature in between. At least we had two rooms to share, one for showers and one for the toilet. Neither bathroom had ventilation. The location felt like the middle of nowhere, with no concrete paver path. It had rained before we arrived, so we had to walk in on a very narrow muddy and gravelly path through bushes, and could feel spiderwebs on our faces. The air con worked only with the on/off switch; nothing else on the remote worked. The kitchenette was so disgusting it looked like nobody had cleaned it in months. Breakfast took over an hour for an omelette and pancakes. The omelette was too salty, the tiny bread slices were burnt, the pancakes were still raw, and coffee powder floated in the hot water. We gave them clothes to wash and got them back the next day with stains still on the shirt, and the socks and underwear still dirty. There was no housekeeping at all, not even towel replacement. Spiderwebs, lizards, ants, and tons of mosquitoes were everywhere. I know it was close to fields, like many Ubud villas, but they could at least have used mosquito repellent and kept the place clean and tidy.
