Pondok Massas Ubud

Our group of 13 stayed here, and I had room 108. It was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the staff were wonderful and so helpful. They even got the padlock off my bag after I’d left the key back home in Australia. I felt like such a dumbass. The shower has its own little quirk: in room 108, turn it on first, get everything else ready, then step in once the water’s warm. I loved that sort of thing as part of the experience. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so lovely and accommodating all of us, noise and all. xx

They change the towels and bedding every day, which I especially appreciated, and the staff were very accommodating throughout. The place feels cozy and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Thanks for the great service! ❤️

The property is clean and well kept, and the little pool is cute. The staff and service were lovely too, very friendly, kind, polite, and helpful.

The construction next door was my main frustration. It went on every day we were there, with heavy equipment and noise from around 7:30 in the morning, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The location is very central for getting around Ubud and other parts of Bali, and the internet was fast and reliable. The staff were friendly and helpful, kudos to them. The villa’s food costs more than nearby restaurants, though it’s still affordable; the taste was pretty average overall. When I was tired, having food available was convenient. I especially liked the Mie Goreng, Nasi Goreng, tuna steak, and Cappuccino, though I didn’t try everything. The room was simple but adequate, with nice facilities and a superb atmosphere. We did get a few ants almost every day, and there was a small leak from the toilet. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s fine for a bit of swimming and enjoying the weather. They offer various tours and spa services, but I didn’t try them, so I can’t comment.
