The social area was the real treasure for me, with lots of seating, shade through the day, rice field views at the back, and a nice breeze across the open terrace. The main road is out front, which comes with the location. The hotel is well placed for visiting Ubud, with plenty of restaurants nearby and the monkey forest and main areas within walking distance. The staff are kind and happy to help arrange trips or rent bikes for exploring. Rooms are basic but comfortable, with everything working well. We couldn’t find another hotel nearby that matched this price for the location. Great value, comfort, and experience. I’d highly recommend it for exploring Ubud.

For travelers trying to save money while exploring, this is a great value and I highly recommend it. It isn’t especially luxurious, so it may not suit honeymoon couples right now. They offer lots of services at very reasonable prices, which means you don’t need to go elsewhere.

The building is old and in poor repair, but the rice fields and sunset views are excellent. There’s an Indonesian restaurant, Warung, in the house with a large dining room. The location is great value, with the world famous Yoga Barn Campus just a few steps away and 25 yoga classes a day. Massage studios, nightclubs, restaurants, and coffee shops are all nearby.

The room and service were the biggest problems. The room was old and dirty. I know this is Indonesia and didn’t expect anything fancy at this price, but it could have been cleaner. I’ve paid the same amount for a cleaner room. There was something sticky, white, and dry on the only small blanket we had. We’re sure what it was, and it was pretty nasty. No one was there to help us get clean sheets. The location is great, right on the main street. The restaurant downstairs is good and cheap, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. There’s a nice view of the rice field and plenty of couches and tables where you can enjoy a meal or coffee with the natural scenery.

We really had no complaints. The room on the second floor was spacious for the price and nicely furnished, with a clean bathroom. There was a little spider web, but it was alright, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. You can walk to Ubud market, though it’s still crowded at night. It felt very safe, but still be careful! The restaurant is on the first floor. Breakfast was nice, and the other menu items were very good and reasonably priced. Best part was having dinner with a sunset view over the paddy field. The staff were friendly and helpful, I love them!
