Puri Payogan Villa Ubud

Loved the ambience and how well they treated us. This was my first visit to the payogan villa, and I brought my family and besties along. The bathroom smelled really good, and there was parking for both cars and motorcycles. We’ll definitely come back in the future. 💗✨

I came here after months of stress and burnout, feeling disconnected and needing to reset. The hotel, tucked into the jungle, gave me the calm I was looking for. Greenery stretches all around, and the sounds of nature helped me feel my worries fade. It felt like coming home somewhere that could recharge me. The room was comfortable and very clean, although a few basics, including bathrobes and amenities, were missing when I arrived. The serene setting made up for that. Staff were warm and helpful, and took care to meet my needs. Breakfast costs extra and can be ordered separately, which lets you set your own pace in the morning. A hidden gem in Bali for anyone wanting to disconnect and unwind. 10/10, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and renewal.

I spent three nights in the garden suite and had a pleasant stay. Though it’s in the jungle and feels authentic, it’s only a 20-minute taxi ride to the centre. The staff were sweet and attentive, and went out of their way to help and make me feel safe traveling solo. The owner was also very helpful and kindly offered to take me and some friends on tours of places, so we saw a lot of Ubud in just two or three days. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean. Breakfast was decent too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The staff were nice, but breakfast orders were often late and one was cancelled at the last minute. We stayed with family in a private villa with a pool. The wooden villa had two large, nice bedrooms, but there were lots of spiders and webs in the rooms. The bathroom had a strong damp smell that never cleared during our three-day stay. In its current condition, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families. The owners and staff should remove the webs, deal with the bathroom odor and humidity, and be punctual with breakfast instead of cancelling at the last minute.
