Putu's Paradise Guesthouse

I loved staying here. The owners are caring and kind, and really look after their guests. With only 4 rooms, it has a cozy feel. The rooms are simple but had everything I needed, including a fridge. It’s very conveniently close to the Yoga Barn if you’re into yoga. I usually left early for yoga and didn’t have breakfast, but they always checked whether I wanted something to eat. Just be aware they only take cash.

This place is next to monkey forest, so monkeys sometimes come by looking for food. It was entertaining to see. The staff and owner were super welcoming, sweet, and always willing to help. The breakfast was really good too. Thanks for making our stay in Ubud better :)

For a peaceful, quiet stay, this place is worth a try. It’s affordable and has limited facilities, but the lawn is beautiful. The owners are humble and polite, and made it feel like home.

We loved staying here with our young child. The guesthouse feels tucked away from busy central Ubud, and the walk in from Hanuman street is part of the charm. The narrow lane passes shrines, a warung, a laundry, and a good massage saloon. It may be too narrow for a taxi, so drivers suggest pickup on the main street. Inside, the lush garden is lovely and peaceful, with huge fish in big tanks. The neighborhood is SUPER QUIET. The place is cute, clear, cosy and welcoming. Our room had plenty of space, even with the extra bed for our kid. The bed was comfortable, and the aircon and wifi worked very well. Toiletries and a fridge were provided. Staff are friendly, and they ask whether you want the room cleaned. Just ask for fresh towels and room service if you need them. We had breakfast included, with tasty omelets, fresh fruit, and good Balinese coffee. For me, guesthouses are about a warm, calm atmosphere, a good price, and a local experience. Putu's paradise delivered that, and I highly recommend it.
