Rena House Ubud

We were a family of five, staying in two rooms beside the pool, and relaxing by it became our favourite part. The owners clearly take pride in the garden and facilities. Our room was huge and clean, breakfast was delicious, and laundry is available on site. It feels tucked away from central Ubud but is still close enough to walk there. We’ll definitely return.

The owner is really kind, and both the rooms and pool were clean. The rooms are also very spacious.

I was here for five days, and it was worth the money. The owners are friendly, and the rooms are big, spacious and clean. It’s a calm, green spot with lots of restaurants and amenities nearby. Breakfast could use more choices. One drawback is access: the roughly 80-meter walkway from the main road can only be reached by motorcycle, so it’s difficult for wheelchair users and older people. I’d rate it 4.5/5.

I’m not sure the reviews are current, or whether some might be fake. Our room was damp, with mold on the bathroom walls and around the sink. There were ants everywhere, including on the toilet and near the bed. The sheets looked poorly washed, with stains, hair and drops of blood. Only two sockets worked for the three of us. The pool outside had greenish, dirty-looking water, and the koi carp were swimming in murky green water too. Breakfast was okay, just eggs and bread or a banana. A couple of times the fruit was spoiled.
