It’s an affordable place right in central Ubud. The pool area is lovely and definitely worth a couple of photos, though it stays cooler than other Bali pools because it’s mostly shaded. The pictures show the more expensive, luxurious rooms. Pick one of the cheapest options and you’ll get a tiny room looking at a wall. Our toilet wouldn’t flush on the first day, but they fixed it after the first night.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with exquisite decor and a private terrace in front of each one. They were clean, and the staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. The location is great, right beside the market and shops, and it’s lovely to come back to somewhere peaceful and quiet. The pool had a bit too much chlorine for my taste, but it was still beautiful and enjoyable. Mr.Rooster was chatty from early morning all day and woke me a few times, so bring earplugs if that bothers you. The air conditioning was wonderful, and I could sleep comfortably under a duvet cover without getting hot. ❤️🙏

The room was gorgeous, and the staff were friendly. It’s right in the middle of town with a market outside the front door, yet felt cosy and quiet once we were inside. There are lots of stairs, and the shower pressure was terrible.

From this spot in central Ubud, the Palace and market are only a few hundred meters away, so the main sights are easy to reach on foot. Staying in a traditional Balinese home with its own temple grounds also gave me a lovely glimpse of Bali's architecture and spiritual life.

We spent nearly a week in a superior room, which had plenty of space for two or even three people. The staff were kind and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the location right in the middle of Ubud worked really well. After days out exploring the island, it was nice to cool off in the pool, especially when the sun was out. Breakfast came straight to our room: a fruit plate, another dish of our choice, and tea or coffee. We loved it and would definitely recommend staying here.
