We had a wonderful stay, thanks especially to Yoyok and his family, who went above and beyond to make it a great one. Their hospitality was the best we’ve experienced. The homestay is right in the heart of Ubud, and we could easily walk everywhere. Breakfast was delicious, with both traditional Balinese dishes and Western food. We’ll be back!

The room was spacious and clean, the people lovely, and the location is great, on what I think is the best street in Ubud. I wouldn’t bother with breakfast, though. There are better places nearby.

The Balinese family home experience was lovely. They were so helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to sort out whatever we needed. We stayed five nights, and it was quiet, comfortable, and close enough to walk to everything. I couldn’t be happier with our stay, and I’ll definitely return when I’m back in Ubud.

The host and staff were the best part of my stay at Shana Homestay. They were so welcoming and ready to help, and I was greeted with local Balinese treats, which was a lovely touch. My room was spacious, clean, and well cared for. The location felt peaceful while still being close to Ubud’s main attractions. I’d happily stay here again for the comfort and warm Balinese hospitality.

My mom and I came from South Africa and felt at home straight away. The host was incredibly kind and always ready to help, and this was honestly one of our best stays. The location is central, close to the Monkey Sanctuary, the lovely Ubud coffee roastery, "This is Bali" for dinner, Dang! Cookies, the market, and beautiful spas around the corner. We’d recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.
